He hadn't seen her since he left high school?

He looked up from the newspaper as he waited for some of his friends to show up, they had told him to meet up here at the local cafe. He waited quietly as he ate his pastry, and sipped at a orange juice. He had just come back from two years studying abroad. He looked up from his food as familiar tendrils of laughter filled his ears. A smile spread across his face as three of his closest friends approached him. Kate, Drew and Noah, rushed froward to great him. He sighed quietly to himself he had wished that he could see Jade again but nobody knew what happened to her after she graduated seeing she graduated a year after the bunch. She use to talk about colleges and how she longed to attend school out of state but feared the price. He shook the thought away, and began to chat with his friends. They talked about their studies, teachers and schools.
"How did you like studying in France?"  Drew asked.

"Oh it's was an experiences that's for sure. But it got easier to comprehend as I became accustom to the customs as well as their methods." Nate replied.

He looked out towards the street where a rush of people crosses the road, they must have just gotten out of classes at the university. His eyes stopped on a girl, with long brown hair that shimmered in the sun. She wore a gray pencil skirt and a green blouse. Her blue eyes connected with his brown ones as she crossed the road, recognition flashed in her eyes.

"Is that Jade?" Nate asked the others as he stepped to his feet.

"Oh my goodness it is!" Kate exclaimed.

Nate walked towards the cross walk waving his arm. "Jade, Jade!" he called with a great excitement.

Jade turned towards Nate with a sly smile, "Hey Nate," her soft voice replied.

It was the first time he had seen her since high school, but it wouldn't be the last time he saw her either.

anyway, as for the shadow walkers it may continue on the blog for a while. Well that is if i deiced on what to do with it. Whether or not it is a girl is in a (insert word that explains it) process any feed back is welcome at this point. Have fun and have a wonderful day.
